‘Winter’ is coming! Wake up human
The real winter is coming. It is not winter zombies in the game of thrones. Global warming is the real winter coming. The fact is we are facing an unprecedented warm temperature across the globe and most obviously when we look at polar bears. They are the particular victims threatened by climate change as temperature increases, transforming the Arctic landscape and depriving them from their habitual living and ecosystem.
It is not surprising to know the number of polar bears is decreasing. According to experts, they are going to be extinct in the future, not more than 100 years. Today, polar bears have become a symbol for the emergency of climate change and action should be taken promptly.
Humans need to reconsider their way of living. Humans are like locusts. The selfishness and greediness of corrupted human beings has absorbed the resources on the earth that are shared with all living creatures on this surface.
Therefore, technology is not for making money for one’s own luxurious living. Technologies are used to transform the way humans live for our convenience and at the same time conserve nature and secure the future. Sustainable development goals set up by the United Nations should be paid with full attention.
Changes start from each small habitual living, then to the responsible entrepreneurs, and the authorities enforcement to instill the seriousness of the irresponsible attitudes demonstrated by today’s generation. This cannot be accomplished by any individual yet it requires cooperation from every layer of society. Stop being selfish and think only about ourselves and this moment of time. Humans need to think further and care for our next generation.
